Privacy Policy.
How we handle the little personal data this website ever touches — written to be read, not skimmed past.
Effective date: July 12, 2026 · Applies to: lightandlifeway.com
The honest summary
This is a static website. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, shows no advertising trackers, and has no contact forms. The only personal data we ever receive through it is whatever you choose to send us by email at info@lightandlifeway.com. The rest of this policy spells that out properly.
Who we are — the data controller
The website lightandlifeway.com is operated by LIGHT AND LIFE WAY LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA (Filing No. 2024-001462627). The short version
Most privacy policies describe an elaborate machinery of data collection. Ours describes its absence:
- We do not set cookies from this website. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary technical cookies for security — see our Cookie Policy for details.
- We do not use analytics tools, tracking pixels, or advertising trackers on this website.
- We do not have contact forms, account sign-ups, or newsletters on this website.
- We do not sell personal data — anyone’s, ever.
- The personal data we do process comes from two places only: email you send us voluntarily, and the technical server logs kept by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.
What we process, and why
Email correspondence
If you write to us at info@lightandlifeway.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to tell us. We use this information solely to read your message, reply to it, and — if we end up working together — manage that relationship. We do not add you to mailing lists, and we do not use your correspondence for marketing.
Hosting and server logs
This website is delivered by our hosting and content-delivery provider, Cloudflare. Like virtually all web infrastructure, Cloudflare’s servers automatically record technical data when a page is requested — typically the requesting IP address, browser and device information (user agent), the pages requested, timestamps, and referring URLs. These logs exist for security, abuse prevention, debugging, and performance; they are processed by Cloudflare on our behalf as a service provider. We do not use them to identify or profile individual visitors.
Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — answering correspondence you initiate, and keeping the website secure and functioning through technical server logs. These are interests any visitor would reasonably expect, and they are balanced against your rights.
- Steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — when your email concerns a potential engagement with us and we process your data to respond to that request.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law.
How long we keep data
We keep email correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with your inquiry and, where relevant, to document a business relationship or comply with legal record-keeping duties. Correspondence that leads nowhere is deleted in the ordinary course of managing our inbox. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for the short periods it uses for security and operations, under its own retention practices.
If you would like correspondence with you deleted sooner, ask us — see Your rights below.
International transfers
We are a company established in the United States, so if you contact us from outside the U.S. — including from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland — your correspondence will be processed in the United States. Our infrastructure providers may also process technical data in various countries where they operate data centers.
Where data-protection law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the mechanisms available under applicable law, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses as implemented in our service providers’ data-processing terms. You can ask us at info@lightandlifeway.com for more information about the safeguards that apply to your data.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction (GDPR)
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it (this policy is that disclosure), to request access to or deletion of your personal information, to request correction of inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Everyone, everywhere
Whatever your jurisdiction, the practical route is the same: email info@lightandlifeway.com and tell us what you would like done with your data. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law, and we may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request — usually by confirming you control the email address the correspondence came from.
Children’s privacy
This website is a business site aimed at adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 years of age (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us at info@lightandlifeway.com and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold, appropriate to how little of it there is: the site is served over HTTPS, access to our email is restricted and protected, and we rely on reputable infrastructure providers. No transmission over the internet is perfectly secure — email in particular travels networks we do not control — so please use your judgment about what you include in a message.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we ever add a contact form or analytics — we will update this policy before the change takes effect and revise the effective date at the top of this page. The current version is always at lightandlifeway.com/privacy-policy. Material changes will be flagged plainly, not buried.
